Sarah Nep has a secret strange enough to stump a panel of Hollywood insiders. The Lafayette resident was flown south recently to participate in I’ve Got a Secret, a new version of the classic game show. Participants with offbeat hobbies—the weirder, the better—are quizzed by a panel of TV celebs who then try to guess each contestant’s mystery.
Nep’s secret? She carves chunks of cheese into works of art. Nep has spent the last two decades carving blocks of cheddar—sometimes as large as 2,000 pounds—into sculptures for food shows, grocery store openings, and fundraising events.
Nep was able to stump the panel, although the cheese-carver went on the show with some pretty quirky company. She says she was joined by political commentator and actor Ben Stein, who had his dog stuffed, and “some juggling strippers.”
