Napa Sonoma Magazine Expands Offerings With Increased Frequency, Apple Newsstand Distribution, Website, Email and Social Media Presence
Napa Sonoma magazine now offers readers several ways to experience all their media offerings
Napa Sonoma magazine today announced that it is expanding its print and digital offerings to increase its readership, and to further support its advertisers. As part of the expansion, Napa Sonoma magazine has increased the biannual frequency of its print edition to three times per year. Additionally, the print version of the magazine has been developed as a magazine tablet app and is now available through the Apple Newsstand. Magazine tablet app subscribers will also receive Concierge Wine Country with their annual subscription. Other digital offerings include a companion website, napasonomamag.com; a Facebook fan page, facebook.com/napasonoma magazine; Twitter, @napasonomamag; and a Napa Sonoma opt-in email newsletter.
The Napa Sonoma tablet app includes content from the print publication as well as bonus interactive content. The magazine app is available as a single edition for $4.99 or an annual subscription (three editions of Napa Sonoma magazine and one issue of Concierge Wine Country) for $12.99. Readers can also purchase the print and magazine tablet app combination (annual) subscription for $14.95. The tablet app will be available soon through Google Marketplace and other points of digital newsstand distribution.
The recently launched Napa Sonoma website boasts content from the magazine, archived Napa Sonoma articles from previous issues and partner content. The website includes social media integration, Open Table Reservations for dining in the Napa Sonoma region, and a calendar where Napa Sonoma editors and readers can post local events. Online advertising options are now available on the website.
Social media and email newsletters are also part of the expansion. Napa Sonoma’s Facebook page has grown to over 1,300 fans in just over a month. The Facebook page posts daily activities and fan interactions about events, restaurants, wine tasting and other happenings in the Napa Sonoma region. In addition, the Napa Sonoma email newsletter will launch soon, with over 5,000 opt-in subscribers. Advertising sponsorships will be available within the e-newsletter.
