Pinky’s Pizza is back in business.
In 2008, Pinky’s Pizza in Walnut Creek closed after 46 years in business—but regulars would not take “closed” for an answer. So, owner Tom Beisheim is reopening, this time on North Broadway.
What have your customers missed the most?
Obviously, the pizza—the crisp crust and our special trademarked sauce. Any time I go to Costco, I run into former customers who say, “I want a Bud Jones so much!” (The Bud Jones is a meat-heavy pizza that Beisheim created in the ’70s.)
What’s different about the new location?
The capacity is the same, but the new place has more parking. And my ovens are state of the art.
Your Facebook fans want to know what video and pinball games you’ll have.
We’ll have Ms. Pac-Man, don’t worry. For pinball, it’s down to Terminator, Elvira, and Attack From Mars. The jury is still out.
Pinky’s Pizza is coming soon to 2085 N. Broadway, Walnut Creek, (925) 939-5000.
