With tableware this interesting, you could probably serve anything at all, which makes sense given the background of its creator, glass artist Sarah Hirneisen.

Hirneisen, whose studio is in Oakland, studied at two of the best glass programs in the country: the Rhode Island School of Design and the Studio at the Corning Museum of Glass at the Rochester Institute of Technology. Her work, under the name Mediums to Masses, is featured in galleries and shops all over the United States.

Hirneisen’s pieces use silk-screen designs based on vintage fabric prints, giving their elegance and clean lines a cool retro feel.
