If you think blistering naan is reason enough to fire up a tandoor to 450 degrees, take a peek at Frontier Spice’s menu. Alongside meaty kebabs, you’ll find lime-scented salmon, mustardy shrimp, and pimento sea bass—all flash-roasted in the tandoor. We particularly loved the tandoori mix grill: chicken tikka seasoned three ways and served sizzling (and supersucculent). The menu has other modern touches, such as coconut-laced deep-fried cauliflower. The curries are good, but trust the tandoor—and double up on the garlic naan. The dining room is simple with elegant touches (glass chandeliers and a landscape triptych), and includes an attractive wine bar with beers on tap—a great place to hang for orders to go. Lunch and dinner daily.
