At their previous, smaller location, Guadalajara Grill's owners didn't offer dessert and coffee because they didn't want diners lingering and tying up the tables. At their new location in the Clayton Valley Shopping Center, 65 tables fill the cavernous space, but there is still no dessert menu, and there is still a wait list on weekends. The place is filled with parents and children who come here for standard taqueria fare with table service. Choose from among the various combo plates of tacos, enchiladas, or chiles rellenos, or opt for grilled entrées such as fajitas, carne asada, or carnitas. Friendly, bustling wait-staff keeps up well with the crowds, and, if you build enough rapport, they may offer you a hug on your way out. Lunch and dinner daily.
