This hit restaurant retains the Parisian styling of the former Left Bank space it occupies while shifting the menu toward good, sometimes great comfort fare. Start with a fresh and minty frozen mojito. The flatbread pizza is a little soggy, but the to-die-for caramelized onions, feta, kalamatas, and tomatoes make it delicious all the same. Fried zucchini “cakes”—brilliantly green inside, crisp outside, with a creamy yogurt-cucumber sauce—are delightful. Fries are good, cole slaw is real, and salads sport fancy greens, although the vinaigrette is too sweet. A Mediterranean plate pays flavorful homage to the owners’ Greek roots, and the fried chicken is crunchy and scrumptious. Desserts are huge and sweet. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner daily.
