This sushi restaurant, which also has a location in Danville, is hugely popular and always busy. The wait, from getting seated to placing your order to having your plates cleared and paying the bill, can be irritating, but the staff is friendly and clearly working hard (the restaurant just needs more waitstaff). On our visit, we enjoyed a delicate, crisp salad of sliced cucumber dressed in rice vinegar and lightly scattered with sesame seeds. The Christmas roll, selected from a wild array of options whose descriptions plaster the menu and walls, was a bounty of fresh shrimp, tuna, and cucumber. We enjoyed the cool, subtle nuttiness of the zaru soba (buckwheat noodles) served with fresh scallions and ginger but found the tempura heavily breaded and greasy. Lunch and dinner daily.
