In the San Ramon Marketplace, Sachi Sushi feels sleeker and airier than your average shopping center sushi joint, with its high ceiling and blond wood furniture. The menu is extensive, with everything from generous sashimi, nigiri, and rolls, to noodle soups, including a very sweet-brothed sukiyaki, with luscious
vegetables and slender, white enoki mushrooms. A seaweed salad had satisfying crunch and nicely blended flavors of sesame and sweetness in the dressing. Miso soup was of the richest, most flavorful quality. The tempura appetizer was light and crisp on the outside, with some bite left to the vegetables and shrimp. Beware the plasma TV, which appears to be on at all times. On one visit, getting our server’s attention required much effort. Lunch and dinner daily.
