The prices aren’t as fancy as the sparkling silverware and dark wood decor at Star Anise, but the modern Thai–Southeast
Asian food lives up to the nice atmosphere, making the restaurant a great value. Island finger lumpia, delicately deep-fried spring rolls, are served with a mild and balanced carrot plum sauce. The pumpkin salmon curry showcases squash and seafood in a red peanut curry that is interesting to
the last bite. Aromatic boneless roasted duck comes off the grill flavorful and meaty. Then there’s the Sweet Fix section of the menu. Gooey sticky rice is complemented by velvety smooth mango and a refreshing touch of coconut ice cream. Attentive, unobtrusive service smooths each course into one seamless, complete experience. Lunch and dinner daily.
