Dressed in black with a glowing blue bar (now red, then green) Yo’s has the pulse of a nightclub. Channel your inner metrosexual and start with the “girly man” roll: tempura shrimp, avocado, and tuna. The food veers from dim sum to Chinese classics to Asian fusion tapas—and then there’s sushi. (That “girly man” rocks: each texture and flavor distinct, yet harmonized.) The fresh steamed buns with crispy pork belly put sliders to shame. Pot stickers achieve the ideal crispy chew. And our “Buddha’s delight,” while a bit oily, brought a large plate of veggies for very little money. A group of ladies was having a night on the town during our Saturday night visit: Clearly, it’s a great place for a young, hip crowd. Lunch Tues.–Fri., dinner Tues.–Sun.
