Eugene O’Neill Festival
Panels and a play take over the Eugene O’Neill Foundation’s historic Tao House in Danville, including O’Neill’s Desire Under the Elms in the Old Barn. eugeneoneill.org.  


Scottish Games

Harvest Wine Celebration
More than 40 Livermore Valley wineries welcome crush season by hosting wine tastings, arts and crafts, and live music. lvwine.org.


Acrobats of China
See the National Circus and Acrobats of the People’s Republic of China perform award-winning stunts—cycling, tumbling, balancing, and acrobatics—set to traditional music at Livermore’s Bankhead Theater. livermoreperformingarts.org.

Lafayette Art and Wine Festival
The largest event in Lamorinda is back with artisan’s booths, food trucks, live music (including Steely Dan tribute band Aja Vu), and wines and microbrews. lafayettechamber.org.


Walnut Festival
More than 30 carnival rides and 40 vendors take over Heather Farm Park for this annual favorite. Enjoy food, a beer garden, and live music. thewalnutfestival.org.
