Brunch in a Glass: Big Blood Mary

Bar Tatami’s Big Mary packs a punch—and lunch.

What sets Bar Tatami’s Bloody Mary apart from other versions of the brunch staple? The Livermore restaurant’s oversized iteration comes with a full meal propped artistically on top.

The Big Mary is 64-ounces large, with a whopping 10 ounces of vodka. The drink is topped with a Tatami burger and three chicken wings. If you’re really hungry, you can order a side of appetizers, including the fish tacos, lemongrass chicken satay, and pot stickers.

The recipe for the Bloody Mary mix is kept under wraps, but bartender Paige Walker likes to say that the secret ingredient for each Bloody Mary is love—and the burger.
