Description

Featuring premium, reserve, library, high-end, hard-to-get, and newly released wines, the Oakland Wine Festival is formatted to allow guests to meet winemakers, enjoy their wines, and learn about wine and food in an intimate and primarily seated setting. This is a high-profile event featuring celebrated winemakers from Napa Valley, Sonoma County, and beyond.

The festival is a collaboration between founder Melody Fuller, a prolific Bay Area food and wine writer and Oakland native, and some of her close friends in the Napa Valley.

Fuller, who is also an alumna of Mills College, builds upon the history of educating the world about the truths of Oakland’s fascinating lore. Over 100 wineries and 10 award-winning chefs accepted the invitation of an impressive Honorary Steering Committee, composed of wine industry luminaries, to launch this inaugural event.

The first annual Oakland Wine Festival tickets are now on sale. Full day packages are available as well as a la carte tickets. Events include winemaker panels and seminars, a a winemaker master class, tastings, and much more.
