Watch the youthful staff energetically jockey around the postage stamp–size open kitchen as they crank out a compact selection of Middle Eastern–influenced salads, flatbread sandwiches, and soups overflowing with fresh, organic fruit and produce. It won’t surprise that Fava’s co-owners are Chez Panisse alums. Get there early for a wrap filled with tender braised lamb balanced by yogurt and fresh herbs on Arab-style flatbread; only 50 are made daily. You can’t go wrong with the salads.
